At 16 lbs 12 oz and 33 " long this monster of a cat was caught Sunday September 20, 2009 at approx. 4:30pm on the shore line of Fishermans Cove here at Bass On Specialty Tackle by Jamie and Richard. Jamie and Richard are from Illinois staying in Houston for work.
Caught at Lake Conroe by Jerry Wagner, Mike Rivera, Richard Pirkl, and James Walker on March 17, 2010 in 10-12 ft of water. They used minnows and jigs bought here at Bass On Specialty Tackle for bait. Total of 61 crappie caught in 3 hrs!
This Flat head (yellow belly) catfish Caught by Kenney Osborne of Houston Texas was 50" long 33" girth weighing 67 lbs . This fish was landed using a rod and reel combo from the shore line around Seven Coves Condos Saturday May 8th, 2010 between 10 and 11 am on a night crawler in 6 to 8 ft. water.Kenney was assisted by another fisherman in a boat but the net broke. Luckily he was able to pull the cat ashore on the bank.
